Moss On Trees
Moss grows well on the west slopes of Mt. Hood in Oregon's Mt. Hood National Forest. Moisture laden storms from the Pacific dump copious quantities of preciptiation - both rain and snow - at the 3,000 foot level shown in this image along the Ramona Falls trail near the Sandy River.
