Sacred Lotus
Nelumbo nucifera, known by a number of names including Indian Lotus, Sacred Lotus, Bean of India, or simply Lotus, is a plant in the Nelumbonaceae family.
Commonly cultivated in water gardens, the lotus is the national flower of India and Vietnam.
